What did you expect? It's just a simple ruby mod!
A Simple Ruby Mod is no longer receiving update. Thank you for downloading it.
The reason I'm stopping development on it is because I want to work on new projects and this mod is difficult to add stuff to.
This mod is also very badly coded by me, now that I've learned more I can continue to make better projects.
You can add this to your modpacks as long as the modpack is free.
Alright, lets go over what this mod adds.
Ruby Apple
This is a new food that acts mainly the same as golden apples. When eaten, you'll get a health boost, regeneration, and a small chance of night vision.
This item can be crafted the same way by normal golden apples, but instead with rubies.
Ruby Armor
This armor is better than Diamond Armor (in 1.15.2-1.0.0), but weaker than Netherite Armor(Coming Soon!). That's kinda it.
The armor pieces are crafted the same way as vanilla armor.
Ruby Tools
Ruby tools are slightly better than Diamond Tools(in 1.15.2-1.0.0) and act similar to Netherite Tools(Note: Ruby Tools burn in lava).
Crafted the same way as vanilla tools.
Ruby Ore
Found Underground and is slightly less common than diamonds.
Ruby Blocks and Items
There are 2 new blocks: Block of Ruby and Ruby Ore. Blocks of Ruby are crafted the same way as vanilla Blocks of Ore. These is only 1 new item, which is the Ruby. Just like Iron, basically; used in beacons, basic item, etc.
Ruby Charm
Only in version 1.6.0 and above.
A Ruby Charm fends off ghosts. When in your inventory, when a phantom attacks you, the ruby in the charm cleanses the phantom, causing it to wither away. Currently no way to obtain this in survival.
Ruby Horse Armor
Only in version 1.1.0 and above.
Ruby Armor for your horses! This is slightly better than diamond horse armor. If you kill a horse by punching it (on 1.16.1) while it has ruby horse armor, it takes ~50 hits to kill. If it has diamond horse armor, it takes ~45 hits. Ruby Horse armor is crafted in a smithing table by combining diamond horse armor with a ruby. You can also smelt it and get 1 ruby in return.
