This resource pack fixes certain slabs and stairs to appear correctly polished-looking at all edges rather than being abruptly visually cut off.

For vanilla blocks, this includes the slab and stair versions of polished granite, diorite, andesite and blackstone, as well as quartz, and fixes cut sandstone and red sandstone slabs. Smooth stone's texture is also changed by this pack to be more visually consistent with the smooth stone slab side texture.

Some mods which add similarly afflicted blocks are also supported.

If you want this resource pack to support any other mods which have affected slabs or stairs then create an issue ticket on this project's GitHub page. However, support will only be provided to mods which support the latest released version or a minor patch thereof (for example, as 1.16 is the latest major version, support for 1.16, 1.16.1, 1.16.2, 1.16.3 and 1.16.4 mods will be considered, but 1.15.2 and earlier will not).

All textures implemented by this mod are either derivatives of Mojang textures, or, in the case of mods, derivatives of that mod's textures. Mojang have my full permission to (and are encouraged to) replace the vanilla assets with these, or otherwise utilize these as a base for creating new fixed block models. Likewise, the creators of mods which this resource pack supports are encouraged to implement these fixed assets into the base mod.
