Hi all!

This mod is an addon for the Charset mod.

It adds the following new logic gates:

  • Analogue Inverter: It inverts the analogue signal coming in from the back, for example if it receives a signal strength of 5, it'll emit a signal at its front with a strength of 10. If it gets no input, it'll act as a redstone torch
  • Analogue Adder: It adds the incoming signal strengths of the input sides and outputs the sum at the front. If it is more than 15, it'll overflow back to zero and so on. For instance, if it gets a signal of 10 and 8, it'll output 2. Additionally in 1.0.1 and later, the right side of the gate is a carry output. When an overflow happens, this side will emit a 1-block-strong signal (suggested by k1tt3hk4t).

New gates in 1.1:

  • Analogue Equality Checker: It has 2 inputs: one on the back, one on the left. When the two inputs are equal, it emits the input strength at the front and 0 on the right (suggested by k1tt3hk4t). Otherwise, it emits 0 at the front and the bitwise XOR [see: Wikipedia] of the two inputs on its right.
  • Analogue Signal Synthetiser: It can generate multiple waveforms when it is powered at the back (any strength). You can change its values with the Synthetiser Configuration Tool.

As Charset no longer has the Gates module, this mod will not update.

Many thanks to k1tt3hk4t for the awesome ideas donated, which got this mod as far as it could get in its short-ish lifespan!
