Prerequisites:
1. Minimum Java SE 8
2. Minecraft server with access to the root directory
3. Approximately 5-10 minutes of free time
Introduction:
AutoPlug-Client.jar is a standalone, executable java program that gets started instead of your server.
AutoPlug finds and starts your server automatically when it is done with its 'before server startup tasks'. Those tasks are always executed before starting your server, and thus AutoPlug works best with its built-in Server-Restarter.
AutoPlugs config files provide detailed explanations for each of the available features. Each feature can be enabled/disabled individually. Changing values in a config file has a direct effect, so no need to restart AutoPlug (except otherwise stated).
Dont's:
1. Do not put the jar into the /plugins directory
2. Do not rename the jar
3. Do not ask us for help, unless you have read at least the installation steps and the introduction
Steps:
1 – Download & Install:
2. Put it into your server's root directory (where your server jar is located)
2 – Configure the startup script:
Option 1:
1. Rename '… -jar <your-server-name>.jar' to '… -jar AutoPlug-Client.jar' in your existing startup script
Option 2:
1. Download the startup-scripts.zip and unpack it
2. Select the script for your server's operating system
3. Put the selected script into your server's root
3 – Run & Configure AutoPlug:
2. You will be prompted to enter your Server-Key. For now, let's ignore that and take a look at the newly generated config files in your server root.
3. If you have more than 2 jars in your server root (AutoPlug-Client.jar included), you need to specify the server jars name in autoplug-general-config.yml at jar: auto-find.
4. If you used startup flags and/or arguments remove them from your startup script and copy them to the autoplug-general-config.yml.
5. The Plugins-Updaters default profile is MANUAL, and it can only be run every 5 hours. So check the autoplug-updater-config.yml and modify it to your likings. Also, take a look at the other config files, most of the features are disabled.
6. If you are installing AutoPlug into a proxy disable arguments in autoplug-general-config.yml.
4 – Finish:
Option 1: I want to have access to the extra AutoPlug-Web features, like Online-Console and Check-p too. 1. Register yourself at https://autoplug.online/ (registration and use of AutoPlug are completely free).
2. Add your server and get your Server-Key.
3. Copy and paste it into your console, press enter, and you are done.
Option 2: I don't want to register.
1. Instead of entering the Server-Key, just enter something random and press enter.
