Description
- Summary:
Better flint tools aims to change "No tree punching" flint tools' sprites for ones more faithful to the color palletes of Minecraft's flint and No tree punching's plant fiber, and give them a more vanilla look. Take a look!
About:
– Update 1.1 has been launched!
(now available for 1.12.2 and 1.16.5!)
– A new Macuahuitl texture has been added (had no different texture before) – 1.16.5 only feature
– The knife textures have been reverted to their original states to keep consistency between in-game and menus as opposed to the old "direction swapped" textures. The flint knives still have changed color pallete nonetheless – 1.12.2 and 1.16.5 feature
– The flint shovel texture had 3 pixels tweaked; specifically the green ones, are now more bright – 1.12.2 and 1.16.5 feature

This resource pack can be placed in any mod-pack you would like, as it only changes a few sprites for a single mod.
This is my first resource pack and I made it just as a little whim.
If you have anything to say, post it below in the comments! EVERYTHING is appreciated!
- INSTALLATION for first timers –
1) DOWNLOAD, right up there, dummy!
1.5) Download the "No tree punching" mod if you haven't
2) Win+R and write "%appdata%" to find your ".minecraft" folder
3) Go to "versions", choose the mod-pack (folder) you would like to apply the pack to, and enter
4) Now that you're in the main directory of your mod-pack folder, copy "Better Flint Tools.zip" inside of your "resourcepacks" folder
(The next steps are for out-of-the-game installation for 1.12.2 users. 1.16.5 users can install the pack in-game fast and without crashes (well, you also can in 1.12.2, but it takes time!))
5) Search for an "options.txt" in your mod-pack folder and open it
6) Search for "resourcePacks:" inside the text file and you should write on it so to look like this:
– resourcePacks:["Better Flint Tools.zip"]
or
- resourcePacks:["Better+Flint+Tools.zip"]
extrastep.png) If you have other resource packs active, remember to separate them with quotation marks and commas, don't forget the space after the commas. Should look like this:
– resourcePacks:["Better Flint Tools.zip", "leviosa.zip", "supercoolskyrimwater.zip"]
And that's all for today, little folk!
Now, go find gravel and chop some trees, tough guy!
