Better glass mod brings to minecraft new blocks, items and game mechanics associated with glass.
Broken glass

Broken glass is a block that spwans after a glass or glass pane is broken.

But be aware! walking on it barefoot deals damage, but you can prevent it by wearing any sort of boots.

Also don't try to break it normally otherwise you'll get hurt. Try breaking it with anything in your hand.

Upon breaking it will drop 1-4 glass pieces and if silk touch is used it will drop itself.

Glass piece

Glass piece can be used as a food source, weapon, and part of better weapon.
If eaten, it will damage the player.

If used as a weapon it will deal 3 damage to hit entity, but also it's number in your hand will decrease.

Glass knife

Glass knife is a new weapon in minecraft.
It's very fast  but deals just 2.5 damage and has less durability than gold (30 uses)

Quartz glass

It's explosionproof
