What this pack does
With the use of OptiFine's animations, this texture pack makes mobs blink! As of currently, not all mobs that are supposed to blink work. This is because of a bug with Optifine's animations not being compatible with a few mobs which is something I cannot fix myself.
Minecraft is a game, which admittedly has a giant lack of atmosphere. Fortunately, the Nether Update has brought a lot of atmosphere to the Nether with new sounds, particles, and even dynamic gameplay. This pack in particular, seeks to improve mobs to make them seem more lively than they currently are, by giving mobs that should be able to blink, the ability to blink! Now, this is a small change, and would probably go unnoticed by most, but will still improve the atmosphere and visual aspect of mobs dramatically.
Most mobs have different ways of blinking. Some mobs can last without blinking for a long time, like dolphins, and some need to blink frequently, such as Blazes and Striders. Some blink heavily, having to keep their eyes closed for a few seconds, or lightly, only needing to keep their eyes closed for less than a second. All of these small variations and inconsistencies should hopefully reduce the lack of repetitiveness and bring more atmosphere when playing with this pack.
