A very simple plugin which will tell you when a block burns down, the information includes:

• The block type, eg: wood
• The block coordinates, eg: X:500, Y:120, Z:1200
• World where the block burned, eg: world_name
• Cancellation status, eg: Cancelled: No

Main Idea

I thought of creating this plugin because my server had problems with lagg and I thought it might be a huge fire somewhere, and I needed to know where. So I started working on this and finished it quite fast.

Features

• Easy setup, plug and play.
• The "/burnfinder <enable/disable/cancel>" command to enable/disable the warnings and enable/disable cancellation!
• In-game use of the plugin, which includes, "/burnfinder <enable/disable/cancel>", warnings in-game to players with permission 'burnfinder.receivewarnings'
• A command to cancel all of the burn events so that you can (temporarily) disable firespread to extinguish the fire (yourself).
• Multi-world support – It'll tell you the world the block burned in.

Will's and Wont's

It will (if enabled):

1. Cancel fire-spread!
2. Cancel destruction of blocks by burn!
3. Cancel burn by lightning, lava or a player (Flint and steel)

It won't:

1. Extinguish the fire
2. Prevent lava-spread
3. Save settings on a reload/restart of the server*

* – This means: A server reload/restart will RESET the plugin, so it will by default NOT show warnings and will NOT cancel burns!

Upcoming/planned features

• Command '/tplast' – To teleport to the last known location of a burn!

Installation

Just download the plugin and put it into your plugin folder, and you're done!

-Configuration-

-None! It is that simple!

-Permissions-

• burnfinder.use – Access to '/burnfinder <enable/disable/cancel>' command.
• burnfinder.reveivewarnings – Allows player to receive warnings of BurnFinder when enabled.
• burnfinder.* – Access to every other permission of BurnFinder.

-Commands-

1. /burnfinder <enable/disable/cancel>

• Enable: Enables warnings about burns!
• Disable: Disables warnings about burns!
• Cancel: Enables or disables cancellation of burns (Toggle-command)

I will release the source if the list of planned features is implemented, I might also make a Github repository, but I'm not sure yet.

Side-notes

1. If you use /version on the plugin, it will show DJ_Jack as the author, this is my Minecraft name.
2. This is my first plugin and I hope it will be use-full if you decide to use it on your server. 🙂
3. My native language is Dutch so my English might not be perfect, but I hope I've made it clear enough!
