Burnished Brass

Burnished Brass is a resource pack that aims to take the look and style of the vanilla game, but polish and refine it to be the best it can be. The goal of the pack lies in it’s name: Burnishing or polishing the game’s textures just like metal to hone it. Some are changes that I prefer over the vanilla game, and some are inspired by other amazing, creative resource packs that others have made that I think really make the game shine. To get the look of the game having luster like a gemstone, several textures are refined.

• New textures for blocks, items, entities, models, gui, particles, and more!
• Many new block variants! (ore blocks, Grass Block, bricks, Amethyst Block, Blackstone, flowers, etc.)
• Unique models for several blocks like rails, Warped Roots, mushrooms, enchantment table, Vines, and Sculk Vein and Sculk Shrieker
• Emissive block textures using MicroShock’s VanillaDynamicEmissives; no Optifine required!
• Overhauled Survival HUD and GUI symbols; new health bar, hunger bar, and armor icons
• Edited shaders: Unobtrusive On Fire! overlay, improved visibility under lava, better spyglass, and transparent clouds for better gameplay experience!
• Custom tool icons for enchanments using custom Unicode characters
• New particles: animated particles and variants
• Improved sounds for Deepslate and Mud Brick footsteps, thunder, fire ambiance, and a rare, new sculk sensor ambient sound
• Several Features added with Optifine:

          – Custom item textures (Enchanted Books, Crossbows, and Potions!) with CIT

          – Connected Block textures (CTM) for various blocks

          – Warmer lights custom lightmap

          – New skybox texture for rain and thunderstorms

          Amazing and beautiful textures that were a huge inspiration for me

Faithless (StichSprites)

         Inspiration for several item textures, such as quartz – this pack is full of stunning pixel art visuals!

Icons (mr_ch0c0late, Zartrix)

          Inspiration for the enchantment icons from this unique and amazing resource pack

A couple of textures are inspired by others from what I’ve seen over the years and if you feel like some textures are closer to your work, let me know so that I could credit you! I think there’s a lot of great examples out there that fit perfectly with what I want this pack to represent, but the last thing I want to do is to discredit others!
