Overview

CapturePoints is a team game where players attempt to get control of Capture Points.
Players can select a class, which will give them different weapons.

Players can capture a point by standing near it. The more players who are on a point, the faster it will get captured.

Game modes

  • Conquer – Both teams attempt to capture all of the points.
  • Defend – One team starts with all of the points in their possession. The other team has a limited amount of time to try and capture them, in order.

Classes

Players can choose a class, each of which has unique items and abilities.

  • Warrior – Heavy armor, strong weapons, but moves slowly.
  • Archer – Powerful bow, and restoration potions, with a weaker sword.
  • Spy – Can turn invisible, except for a set of "footprints" (transparent boots), speedy, but has little in the way of protection.
  • Pyro – Immune to fire, has a flamethrower and a powerful fire-axe.
  • Medic – Can heal other teammates. Not very strong 1v1.

Additional Features

  • All properties, including capture points, game mode options, classes and class loadouts are fully customizable from a config file.
  • Multiworld support
  • Capture points show visual progress, in the form of colored blocks circled around the capture points.
