CarlderGross' Tweaks Mod is a vanilla-feel mod meant to add in some stuff that really should be in vanilla Minecraft.

Some of the features include:

Alternate Stone Tools

Ever wonder why the heck you can't make a pickaxe out of granite, andesite, or granite? Well, now you can!

Recipes are pretty simple: just the same as any other tool except diorite, andesite, or granite.

If you really want pictures of the recipes, they are under Images.

Craftable Stuff

Some things in Minecraft are uncraftable even though they seem pretty simple. Well, no more!

Saddles and name tags now can be crafted!

To craft a saddle, make a boat shape of leather and put an iron ingot on the bottom.

To craft a name tag, make a horizontal line of two leather with a string on the end.

You can also craft arrows with iron nuggets instead of flint, and finally get out of the stone age.

Additionally, wool can be crafted into string. [1.14 Only]

Also, you can craft mushroom stew using three mushrooms of the same type instead of one of each. [1.14 Only]

Craftable Chainmail

Chainmail is another thing that becomes craftable with this mod. However, it's a bit complicated, so it deserves a separate section.

First, make a chain link. You can do this by simply placing an iron nugget in the crafting grid. This will make two links.

Next, you need chain panels. Nine chain links filling the grid makes a panel.

Chain panels can be crafted into chainmail like you craft other armor sets.
