CastleBlocks requires the Fabric API and the Fabric Loader
CastleBlocks Forge does not require any additional libraries or mods.
CastleBlocks introduces new types of bricks into Minecraft called 'Castle Bricks'. These bricks can be only easily broken by their intitial builder or by explosives, excellent for player-vs-player applications and castles!
Usage
1. Craft a Trowel, all recipes can be found within REI. *NEI/JEI for Forge
2. Right click on smelted stone to chisel it into a CastleBrick! Note: Uses trowel durability upon action.
3. To identify CastleBricks, right click with the Trowel to view owner.
FAQ
Q. What is the mining level of a Castle Brick?
A. It is slightly stronger than Obsidian with a Diamond Pickaxe. Fastest method to mine is Netherite.
Q. What is the motive for this mod?
A. Coming from personal PvP servers, I never liked how my cool looking castles never actually had any defensive purpose, and how I always had to rely upon various chunk claiming mods for any protection, this mod aims to be an alternative to all-encompassing chunk-claim mods by providing a block that is hard to break for anyone except the owner.
Q. Will this mod be further maintained?
A. This mod is compatible with all 1.16.XX versions, it is still undecided as to port to 1.17 eventually, there is currently a build for 1.7.10 Forge available.
Q. Why Fabric?
A. Following the larger trend of the community, the CastleBlocks team refuses to support the toxic gatekeeping of the Forge staff, thus the primary builds of CastleBlocks will be developed using Fabric. The tools and features provided in Fabric make our work much easier.
Can I use CastleBlocks in my modpack?
Yes! Credit isn't required whatsoever, coming from a modpack maker myself, too much work anyway.
