Colds: Claws (Forge)

Colds Claws adds a full set of "Claw" Tools to your game.

Use these tools to attack your foes or dig into the Grass in hopes of finding something nice!

I've fine tuned these tools to be vanilla friendly and fit right in with other vanilla tools!

Claws come in all Vanilla "Tool" Material Variants…  Wood through Netherite.

You'll learn the recipe for these new tools when you pick up it's primary material.  (Sticks will teach you how to make a Wooden Claw, while Diamonds will Teach you to make the Diamond Claw.)

ENCHANTS???

These Claws can be enchanted with the following…

Efficiency, Unbreaking, Mending, Sharpness, Bane of Arthropods, Smite, Flame Aspect, Looting, and Fortune.

DIGGING???

You can use the Claws to sift through Grass Blocks in hopes of finding something useful. (Similar to making paths with a shovel)  

The Claws "Tier" or Material Type has an impact on how often you will find items.  Wooden Claw < Netherite Claw.

The Fortune Enchantment has a large impact on the quality of items found as well.

This will change the Grass Block into Coarse Dirt, digging through Coarse Dirt will change it into regular Dirt.

All "Digs" have a chance to spawn a small amount of Experience Orbs as well!

SHEARS???

Claws can also be used as Shears when you use them on Sheep and "Other" creatures throughout the world.   

The Fortune Enchantment can increase how much is "Sheared"

What can be Sheared with Claws?

Sheep, Chickens, Spiders, Skeletons, Zombies, Slimes, and Magma Cubes.  Be VERY careful around Creepers!
