Combat Evolved

This mod adds a few small changes to both PvP and PvE, giving it more realism and new secondary functions never seen before. Use the new counterattack mechanics to defeat your opponent and expose him, use a sword in each hand to better block enemy melee attacks, or use a hoe as a way to deflect his sword for lack of something better (like a trident)! That you don´t decide on a defensive combat style? Nothing happens! Hit your opponent with a netherite axe a few brutal blows and let fear take hold of him, rendering him defenseless against your final blow! No matter how you play, if you are looking for an interesting combat, this is your mod!

This mod is part of the mechanics of another mod / map that I'm developing, so if you want the combat mechanics, but you don't want the map, I'll leave it right here (that's the mod).

CONTERSTRIKE

The counterattack is a new mechanic that will allow you to damage the enemy without having to attack him directly, after taking damage by an entity or a player. This technique uses a variable, called weaponStrength, that evaluates the weapon you are using and gives it a preset defense value; and another variable, securityTest, which checks the level of the armor (or combination of them, since it is checked based on the armor points and not the piece itself) and also gives it another preset value. For example, swords have a medium value of weaponStrenght, but having one in each hand greatly increases their value. Hoes and pitchfork are great blocking tools, but they force you to carry them in one hand, etc.

BRAVERY AND FEAR

In the other part of the mod we can see the two potion effects that will appear depending on your level of health and protection. Thanks to Courage you will be able to be stronger than your rival briefly and give him forceful blows, but if your health drops a lot and you are not prepared, you will have Fear and your combat statistics will drop greatly (the best thing would be to flee)!

This mod has taken me a long time to make, and has over 1000 lines of code written in Java.
