ABOUT:
This is a concept of Control Points in Minecraft.
When you copy the contraption to your world with, for example, MCedit you need to type the following commands into the chat:
/scoreboard teams add Blue
/scoreboard teams add Red
/scoreboard teams option Blue color dark_blue
/scoreboard teams option Red color dark_red
And then you can join the team using command blocks like in this video:
