Description
For as long as I've been playing Minecraft, I've never been happy with the two vanilla options for chimney stacks:
- Build it using solid blocks, and deal with the lack of smoke, or
- Use campfires surrounded by trapdoors, which usually doesn't match the chimney material (cobblestone, etc)
As such, Cosy Chimneys has been created purely with aesthetics and function in mind. Chimney blocks are made of the standard building materials (for first release, cobblestone), and are hollow enough to allow smoke particles to rise from the below fire source, while being small enough to prevent players from falling in.
The recipe for chimney blocks is as below:

An unintended feature is that chimney block holes are large enough to allow items to fall through, but not entities. Use this how you will.
Note: This is the first release of the mod, and as such will only currently be available in cobblestone material. More materials are coming, and any suggestions can be made below (including modded blocks).
Versions
At this time, only Forge is being supported. However, I do give permission to port this to Fabric if you wish, so long as you credit this mod as the original.
Of course, you may use this in your modpack, so long as you credit and link back to this page.
