Description
This mod forces players to spend time crafting (like MITE). A process bar will overlay the origin craft table GUI to indicate the crafting process.
Important: After 0.4.1, the structure of config files changes. Please delete old config files to allow the mod to generate a new one.
Tutorial or Something to know:
1. How to start crafting:
Just click on the crafting result slot, and crafting will start.
The item-on-cursor must be empty or the same item as craft-result-item!
2. How long does a crafting take:
Craft period is calculated by this formula:5 + global_multiplier * sum of (crafting_difficulty of each ingredient * mod_multiplier) (unit: tick)
Craft speed is 1 + 0.02 * min(player_exp_level, 200) per tick ( + 0.05 * min(crafting_level, 150) if Project MMO mod exists)
Real craft time is craft_period / craft_speed.
Default craft difficulty for every item in Minecraft is 20, and you can modify them in the config file 'craft_time.json'.
Every item registers in the game will be recorded in the config file, and there's also a backup 'craft_time_sample.json' for you.
3. Where is the result items:
The crafting result will be transferred to your cursor and you need to put them into your inventory manually. (Since this is the simplest way to implement)
4. Why crafting stops for somehow:
Crafts will stop when:
a. Run out of ingredients.
b. Recipe changes.
c. Close the crafting GUI.
Crafts will pause when:
d. Count of item-on-cursor + Count of craft-result-item > Max stack size of the item.
e. Item-on-cursor is not empty and Craft-result-item ≠ item-on-cursor.
Crafts will not stop when:
f. Click the result slot again.
g. Switch to a non-Minecraft window (Alt+Tab)
5. Does this work for modded items or recipes:
Yes. It works with the modded items and can customize the crafting difficulty of every item.
6. Does this work for a modded crafting table:
It depends. It works if the modded table uses the vanilla GUI (I mean in its code, not the texture), otherwise, probably not. Thank RDKRACZ for testing.
7. Is this a forge mod or fabric mod:
Both. Since Curseforge only shows the latest file I upload, I use the beta version for Forge and the alpha version for Fabric (actually they're both in beta test, after release, I will use release and beta to indicate Forge and Fabric).
