Emissive Light Glow

A passion project inspired by the Connected Textures Mod and the Official Connected Textures Pack to add emissive light glow to Minecraft objects. In 1.12, I could not run CTM because it was incompatible with Optifine, and I needed Optifine to make Minecraft function with reasonable performance. Making use of Optifine's emissive textures system, I could achieve similar results to CTM. This pack has been expanded to the modded environment based on what I am playing and what people request.

That being said, Optifine is required for this pack to function on any version of Minecraft. You must also enable emissive texture in the options menu. For 1.12 specifically, to avoid crashes with Astral Sorcery, this pack requires Optifine F4 or higher.

Pack based on videogamer1002's Emissive Textures texture pack which is the only pack I could find back in 1.12 that implemented emissive textures (there may have been others that I never found or that did not advertise it). The original pack can be found here, and I encourage you to take a look to see which vanilla Minecraft objects were changed. Special thanks to them for inspiring this project and providing a foundation.

As mentioned, this texture pack adds light glow to objects from other mods. This can be customized by opening the zip file in a program like Winrar and deleting the folder associated with a specific mod. That will make the zip lighter and allow you to curate the experience to fit your emissive texture preferences.

I will be updating this pack as I add more light glow to appropriate objects and work with other mods. I change as I play, so there may be objects you believe should have glow that I have not seen yet. Just let me know if that is the case, and I'll look into it. Additionally, I do not play with every mod in existence, so there will be some content that I would never know should have light glow. Feel free to suggest some mods that you would like to see have glow, and I will take a look. I do try to stay true to the mod, so not everything will glow, and some objects look better without it.
