Half human, half Enderman. On PaperMC.

This plugin includes configurable Enderman hybrid status, different types of teleporters, customisable teleporter cooldown and damage, silk touch hands, and much more!

Note: This plugin includes a feature (disabled by default) that hides players wearing carved pumpkin from being visible from hybrids. Do note that this feature, when enabled, is likely to break staff/vanish plugins.

Oh and btw, there’s a GUI for Endermaning.

To get started with configuring, just do `/edm help` for information, or `/edm` for the GUI.

While it is possible to edit the configs for Endermaning on the fly, it is not recommended to do so. Same for using /reload. It will break some functionality of the plugin.

Installation
Download this plugin, and drop it into your server’s plugin folder!

This plugin is targeted for PaperMc users, and will likely not work on Spigot. You might want to look into PaperMc or PurpurMc if you use Spigot anyway, due to the performance gains offered.

bStats

This program bundles bStats, which sends anonymous data (as shown here). This data helps me keep track of user metrics. Should you wish to disable this, please go to plugins/bstats/config.yml and follow the instructions there.

Concept

The concept of this Minecraft Plugin is that an Endermen role play plugin. This allows players to be a Hybrid Enderman, sharing some advantages and disadvantages of being an Endermen. Works for 1.14.2 +. This will not work on 1.14.1.

This was inspired by the Origins fabric mod, the dream SMP, reddit, as well as by myself. Enjoy!

Endermaning

Features: 

• Choose which players are Endermen hybrids!
• Two teleporting mechanisms: random teleporter, or infinite pearl teleporter.
• Customisable teleportation cooldown.
• Hybrid Endermen can have their hands enchanted by silk touch, have other Endermen not hostile to them, hurt by water and rain, and be unable to see players wearing a carved pumpkin. All configurable!
• Why should Endermen hybrids take damage when pearling? Option to remove pearl damage!
• Yeah, I decided to add a GUI for this.

Once again, tab complete has been added so that if you decide to use the command line, your life is easier.

Commands: 

• /Endermaning: Opens the GUI!
• /Endermaning [add/remove] [(Player name)]: Add or remove a player from being an Endermen hybrid!
• /Endermaning [reload]: Reload the plugin after you change the config.yml
• /Endermaning [list]: List all players that are Endermen.
• /Endermaning [cooldown]: Set teleportation cooldown (must be natural number).

• /Endermaning [teleporter] [random/infinite]: Toggle teleporter type.
• /Endermaning [silkhands] [true/false]: Toggle Endermen hybrids having silk touch enchanted hands.
• /Endermaning [hidepumpkinplayers] [true/false]: Toggle Endermen hybrids being able to see a player wearing a carved pumpkin.
• /Endermaning [hostileendermen] [true/false]: Toggle Endermen being passive to Endermen hybrids.
• /Endermaning [waterrainhurt] [true/false]:  Toggle Endermen hybrids being hurt by rain and water.

If you don’t want to configure Endermaning, these are the default settings. (You still have to add players though).

• Teleportation cooldown: 15 seconds
• Hide players that wear carved pumpkins: true
• Silk touch enchanted hands: true
• Hostile Endermen to hybrids: false
• Teleportation type: random
• Hurt by water and rain: true

bStats

This plugin uses bStats to collect anonymous data about the server. This data helps me plan when I should do certain things, such as bump the java version of the plugin to java 11, as well as know the number of people using this plugin. If you for any reason are uncomfortable with this, disable bStats by going to /files/plugins/bStats/config.yml and changing the collection option to disable.

Closing   

As usual, if you do /reload, there may be memory leaks. This is true for many plugins, and a full restart is recommended instead.

If there are any issues that you find, instead of negatively rating Endermaning, tell me about the issue on Discord instead. Any suggestions? Hop into Discord as well! I will not be reading the comments everyday, and I will be checking Discord more often in comparison.

This is a plugin that is coded on 1.16+, and has been tested on 1.14 and 1.15. The plugin will not work below 1.14 and a back-port will not be made. As this is a 1.16+ coded plugin, I will be offering lesser support on 1.14 and 1.15. This is a Spigot based server plugin, therefore supported platforms include spigot forks like PaperMC, but not forge. A minimum of Java 8 is required.

Individual players do not need to install this plugin on their instance of Minecraft for this to work, only server installation is needed. Just drop this plugin in your /plugins folder to install! A Forge port is considered, but at this moment I have not started on one.
