Project Background

Ex Sartagine: Requiem is a fork and continuation of the original open source project ( "Ex Sartagine") by Absolem Jackdaw, made with their permission.
This mod was brought back to life thanks to the RotN team for use in their pack with member Foreck directing the project, CalaMariGold financing it, and IItemStack doing all the coding and heavy work for the purpose of using it in the modpack Rebirth of the Night; however, the mod is perfect for anyone looking to increase or even simplify the cooking system of Minecraft.
What does the mod do?

The primary use of Ex Sartagine: Requiem is for modpack developers to add different recipes using its different stations; quoting the original mod, by default, Ex Sartagine allows you to save up on coal, distribute the heat in a multi block cooking range, cook food faster, and smelt ores more efficiently using the following devices
### Baking Kettle
* The kettle is the most important addition for mod pack makers made by this fork:
* Crafttweaker support for various features
* Support for any forge liquid in recipes (doesn't retain contents when broken)
* 3×3 recipe grid for shaped and shapeless recipes
* 3×3 slots for multiple outputs
* Catalyst slot for an extra ingredient (like a tool for example
* Configurable recipe time
**Notes**
* No default recipe for the kettle
* No default recipes using the kettle in general
### Frying Pan
* No need for coal
* Cooks faster than a regular furnace
* Looks better then two furnaces on top of each other
* Average higher experience yield then a regular furnace
**Disadvantages**
* Needs to be mined with a pickaxe
* Can only cook food
* Can only be placed on top of a furnace (Configurable with Craft Tweaker)
### Cooking Pot
* No need for coa
* Cooks faster than a regular furnace
* Good experience gain per item cooke
**Disadvantages**
* Small variety of recipes by default (cooked potato, boiled eggs and cooked beans)
* Requires a bucket of water to cook 3 full stacks of 64 items
* Can only be placed on top of a furnace (Configurable with Craft Tweaker)
### Smelter
* Smelts ores and produces greater output
* Overall more xp gain
**Disadvantages**
* Can only be placed on top of a furnace (Configurable with Craft Tweaker)
New Features

* With that said, a list of new features provided by this official continuation include:
* Fix existing Craft Tweaker integration method for Pan and Pot
* Add Baking Kettle with several features (detailed above)
* Add JEI recipe integration for Baking Kettle, Pot and Frying Pan
* Support for custom heat sources for all machines using block states
Kettle is not registered in any creative tab at the moment, so you have to give it to yourself using commands give @s exsartagine:kettle
