GOBBER MOD FOR FABRIC 1.16.5 & 1.17.0

NOTE:  1.17 is focus of new development, no back ports.

The Gobber mod is designed to make playing Minecraft more fulfilling by providing enhanced armor, tools, and weapons.   Additionally, the mod provides special items (rings, staffs, and medallions) that provide a variety of quality of life enhancements and convenience perks. 

"Some may consider the items overpowered, but that is a matter of choice, in my opinion." – said nobody ever!

1.17+ CONTENTS:

KEY FEATURES:

 - (3) new ores in Overworld, Nether, and The End.  Overworld ore spawns below y = 50.
– (3) levels of coal that give 12,000, 24,000, and 32,000 burn time
– (3) armors that provide special perks like auto feeding/saturation, water breathin, fire protection, and no fall damage.  End Armor has a built-in glider feature similar to Elytra
– (3) sets of weapons and tools that are far superior to diamond level 
– (3) levels of special rings providing an array of perks (e.g. item magnet, mass mining, a plant/tree growth ring, floating, night vision
-  Several of the rings will work in Curios ring slots (1.16.5 only)
– Lots to explore and discover 

HARVEST LEVEL NOTE:

– Gobber Ore requires harvest level 3+ (diamond pickaxe or equivalent)
– Nether Gobber Ore requires harvest level 4+ (Gobber Pickaxe or Netherite Pickaxe)
– End Gobber Ore requires harvest level 5+ (Nether Gobber Pickaxe)

Track Your Progress With Advancements:

Three (3) new Armors to Build:

– Gobber Armor provides health perks and underwater breathing

– Nether Gobber Armor provides health perks and fire protection

– End Armor provides the benefits of the previous plus a built-in glider function

Includes: Bows, TreeAxes, Hammers, Excavators, and Paxels

Area Effect Blocks are in 1.16.5 only.  For 1.17+ they are a separate mod called Ward Blocks.

Four (4) Additional Worlds For Resources (1.16.5 only), for 1.17+ they are in a separate mod called Mining Dimensions:

Mining World:

– A duplicate of the Overworld with respect to ores and structures.

– Only contains two biomes, Mountains (emeralds) and Desert (sand for glass)

– Time is held at high noon

– Ring of Teleport and Ring of Above work in Mining World

– Yes there a mobs

– Custom portal of cobblestone, lit with a Flint and Steel

Hunting World:

– An eternally dark world of plains

– Many mobs from Overworld, Nether, and The End spawn there; great for mob farms

– Some mobs have increased health, armor, and attack damage

– Some mobs are armored with Gold, Diamond, and even Netherite gear

– Don't go there if you are not well prepared

– Custom portal made of Oak logs and lit with Flint and Steel

Caving World:

– Like a huge Mushroom Island Cave World

– Same world generation of ores as Overworld

– Little to no mobs spawning 

Nethering World:

– An unmodded version of the vanilla Nether
