Grinner’s Ents

Ents exist to cultivate and protect forests in the overworld. Six variants will spawn based on the vanilla trees; oak, dark oak, birch, acacia, spruce, and jungle

If there are few trees in the area or barely any, the ents will plant saplings. They will also bonemeal the ground on occasion. Ents are a Neutral mob that will leave you alone unless you attack them, however they are protective of their forests, so stripping a log or breaking a log will make them hostile. At night, they stand completely still in hibernation.

Upon death, there is a chance the ents will drop an emerald, bark, or leaf blocks.

Stripping a log will also yield bark which can be crafted into paper. however this also means crafting paper from sugarcane is disabled.

This mod is for 1.16.5 and there is no intention to backport it to previous versions of Minecraft nor is there any intentions to update it for more recent versions.
It’s also only for forge and there is no intention to create a fabric version.
