Grite Smite

This is a lava-platform player-vs.-player map I made in my spare time for me and my friends. No command blocks were used. All of the wiring is pure, delicious redstone.

Two players will fight to the death in the small arena betwixt two rooms. The rooms each contain similar equipment within a chest, a button which both players much each press in unison for both starter gates to open to the arena, and a lamp which is hooked up to the circuit which distinguishes when the other player has pressed his button (for those without a mic.) The gates open immediately and close after a few seconds, so be ready when you press your button. If one player fails to pass through the gate, the other will have to respawn and press their room button again. This was implemented after a bout I had on my previous map with a friend. My previous map used levers instead of buttons and one player could lock himself in the room to prevent further combat.

I won't go into much detail with the map, as to keep the experience tactful.

Rules and extra information:

-for best results, both players can play in adventure mode

-equipment will be kept upon death, but this is optional

-other equipment may be added (snowballs, eggs, potions, etc) if the current equipment is expended or lost

-To reset the map, recopy it into the saves folder
