Description
Introducing Guarding!
Guarding is a fabric mod that intends on adding new features to the shield in a vanilla styled way.
What does Guarding include?
Parrying Mechanic:
Time your shield blocks at just the right time while crouching and you can perform a parry, sending enemies away and allowing you to get distance. Parrying will give your shield a cooldown and do significantly more damage to the shield, it is advised to strategically use this ability!
Faster Shields:
Shields no longer have an obnoxious delay and are as responsive as Bedrock/Combat Test, this will compliment parries.
Shield Hugging Punishment
Tired of someone who relies on their shield too often, shields will now be disabled once the use time has reached past 10 seconds, this is an optional feature and can be disabled.
Shield Enchantments
- Pummelling: Sends knockback to attacker on successful parry, with knockback level depending on enchantment level. (Max: 3)
- Barbed: Deals damage to attacker on successful parry. (Max: 1)
