Legendary Item

Legendary Item — third LOTR addon released in 2019. It is one of two successors of the Valar Item mod created in 2016 (the second successor of — The Rings of Power). In this mod, the emphasis was on weapons and armor.

Initially, DAndMaster took over the development. He created all the textures of the armor and weapons, and also coded the mod in MCreator, which resulted in a poor quality of work. In 2020, the encoder was Hummel009, who coded the mod from scratch. Bugs are gone, epic weapon renders are added, new features are added (Grond’s hammer can now knock back armies when right-clicking), and all things are now located in the “Legend of Middle-earth” tab.

July 26, 2022, the addon was re-released with all bug fixes as part of LOTR: The Trilogy. The addon is currently compatible with the latest version of LOTR — v36.14, Minecraft 1.7.10.

New Content

Mod adds sets of armor and weapons. There are no crafting recipes, as the creator of LOTR — Mevans — said, “Things like Anduril and Gandalf’s staff will never be craftable.”
