Lithos: 3D

Description:

Lithos: 3D is an add-on resource pack, replacing various blocks with a 3D block model, in addition to minor alterations to base Lithos: Core textures as needed.

This resource pack is not designed to function as a standalone product, and was designed to be used in conjunction with Lithos by J. W. Bjerk / eleazzar.

Features:

• Replacement of various blocks with a 3D block model.
• Streamlined model geometry. The block models contained in the pack are made to use the least amount of block models possible without detracting from quality.
• Consistency with Lithos. The 3D block models are made to match the textures of Lithos. No out of place details that would otherwise conflict.

Goals of the Lithos: 3D pack.

Taking inspiration from eleazzar:

Details, Streamlined, Unity

• Each 3D model should match the block’s texture, fitting in with the aesthetic of Lithos, adding details of varying complexity that are otherwise not possible with a flat block surface.
• 3D models should not contain an excessive amount of 3D geometry that would otherwise reduce performance. If it is possible to reduce geometry used without subsequently reducing the quality of the model, then it will be done.
• No 3D block model should make the block unrecognizable from that of the base model. It will remain in tandem with that of Lithos, allowing for enhanced detail while also remaining consistent.

My desire is to continually add to and improve upon 3D Addon: Lithos. Any user feedback and criticism that is given is highly valued and will be taken into consideration in the development of this pack.
