Lodestone is a library used by all mods under the Lodestar team, containing important backend code mostly used for rendering.
Features:
A particle system with a huge amount of per-particle configuration
A system for onscreen GUI-side particles is also present with just as much configuration
A simple screenshake implementation
A world event system, similar to entities but saved, rendered, and ticked per dimension, rather than per chunk
Various helper classes & utilities
A simple system for multiblock structures & block entity inventory handlers
A lot of shaders
A texture loader implementation; by default allowing for recoloring textures with a luminosity-based gradient
Some commonly used attributes in our mods
A system allowing for custom fire effects applied to entities
A normal buffer to be used alongside the depth buffer for advanced VFX
…And more things we can’t be bothered to write down! Honestly I don’t even know why I’m writing this, it’s not like anyone outside the dev team will use it either way
