 I would suggest using Jei when using this mod as there are a lot of crafting recipes 

This mod is in early alpha so there is only one relic rn so what you gotta do is go mining between -64 and -48 to find Nagulite Ore witch is a white glowy ore might take a while though as it is quit rare then what you gotta do is smelt it in a blast furnace, then get the gem that comes out of that and put it into the first slot of a smithing table and then blaze powder in the second to get a Hell burn Gem then use this recipe to make the hell ring. witch gives fire resistance when held and does a lot of damage not to mention when you hit a entity with it. the entity is set on fire
