Description
This mod is designed as a way to use any spare ores if you are running Geolosys but don't have a mod to make use of everything it adds. Each metal has an ingot and block associated with it.
The mod also activates bronze alloying in Tinker's Construct by providing its own bronze ingot.
New to version 1.2, there are now 5 Tinker's material integrations with lots of unique traits
- Platinum : Catalyst
Catalyst acts as an additional level of Fortune if you have a full stack of matching drops in your inventory. The effect stacks up to Catalyst III, at which point you can get +3 fortune levels if you have 3 stacks of that item in your inventory. So for example, using a Catalyst III, Luck III pickaxe on diamonds would yield the regular Fortune III with an empty inventory. Placing a stack of 64 diamonds in your inventory would activate Catalyst and put the Fortune count up to IV. Another stack would hit V and having 3 stacks would max out at Fortune VI. Do you want to take the risk of carrying 3 stacks everywhere you go to get maximum drops?
– Osmium : Smart
Smart tools will automatically repair from ingots, blocks and nuggets from your inventory when they reach critical damage
– Uranium : Irradiated and Luminous
– Yellorium : Shulky and Luminous
Irradiated applies hunger, weakness and nausea to hit targets
Shulky will automatically attempt to place picked up items in a shulker box when you are holding the tool in your main hand and the shulker box in your off hand
Luminous causes you to glow while holding the tool
– Nickel : Magnetic, like Iron
