Midas Hunger [Fabric]

A simple mod that adds 15 new golden food items. The main purpose of this mod is to make the not-so-useful food items useful i.e. Beetroot now has a use, turtle farms can now be used to craft golden turtle eggs; furthermore, both the golden chorus fruit and the golden poisonous potato have interesting effects that can't be obtained through potions.

Most items can be crafted as one would craft a golden carrot. Here's an example and two exceptions

List of effects:

Dried golden kelp: Grants water breathing

Cooked golden salmon: Grants dolphin's grace (Long)

Cooked golden cod: Grants dolphin's grace (Short)

Golden turtle egg: Grants slowness and resistance for a short time (similar to potion crafted using turtle helmet)

Cooked golden chicken: Grants slow falling

Golden beetroot: Grants fire resistance (Short)

Golden beetroot soup: Grants fire resistance (Long)

Golden sweet berries: Grants speed

Golden chorus fruit: Grants levitation

Golden poisonous potato: Probability to poison the player but always grants luck effect

Baked golden potato: No effect. Saturation equals to that of golden carrot

Cooked golden mutton: No effect. Saturation equals to that of golden carrot

Cooked golden porkchop: No effect. Saturation equals to that of golden carrot

Cooked golden rabbit: No effect. Saturation equals to that of golden carrot

Cooked golden beef: No effect. Saturation equals to that of golden carrot

All items restore a higher amount of hunger and saturation points

New in 1.3.0: Master farmer villagers now offer some Midas Hunger items. They can be individually enabled/disabled in the config file.

Note: They don't replace vanilla offers such as the golden carrot and the glistering melon. There's just a chance of Midas Hunger items to be offered instead.

 It is possible to individually enable/disable all items added by this mod through the config file (config still not available for 1.17 version)
