MineSlots

MineSlots is a mod that allows players to make slot machines by writing [slots] on the first line of a sign. Slot machines can be owned by the server or by individual players. When a slot machine is right-clicked, the player pays the stake specified on the sign and the slot machine runs. If all symbols on the machine match, the player is paid the jackpot. Signs can be customised in various ways and more in-depth information on how to do this can be found in the readme file included in the download.

Customisable Variables

• Number of reels
• Number of symbols on each reel
• The stake: the amount of money required to play the machine.
• The jackpot: the amount of money paid out in the event of a win. This is automatically set based on the stake and chance of winning but can be set manually.
• The stake reinvestment: this is an optional setting where some of the stake can be added to the jackpot, so that the jackpot increases with each loss on the machine.
• Custom machines can also be configured so that these settings can all be set by enetering a single machine name (specified by the config file). For example, a machine could be made named "sausage", and setting the first line of a sign to [slots sausage] would automatically fetch the settings from the config file.

Permissions

The rank required to carry out these operations can be set by the server owner/admin:

• The ability to create machines
• Creating server-owened machines, or machines owned by other players
• The ability to delete any player's slot machine

Known Bugs

• Signs placed on blocks which then move (via pistons or gravity etc.) will be destroyed.
  (Should be mostly fixed now – not sure)
• Reels with coloured symbols appear off-centre (colours are therefore off by default).
