Description
DISCLAIMER: This plugin was not made with the intent of server owners using this to harass players. This was made for the sole purpose of having a laugh with a few friends and I will not accept any responsibility for damage that has been done by use of this plugin. Please do not use this maliciously.
Miserable Actions
- Chat fail (stops the user's message from sending)
- Disconnection (randomly sends a legitimate looking java disconnection message)
- Interact remove (destroy blocks they interact with)
- Subtract one of their item stacks in their inventory by 1
- Make them "lag back"
- Spawn a mob on them (different in all dimensions)
- Don't place their blocks
- Silverfish spawn upon breaking blocks
Commands
You can access the command to add/remove players from the miserable users list by typing either:
- /mu
- /miserableusers
Both those aliases run the same command.
The arguments for the command are:
- /mu add – Adds a player to the miserable users list
- /mu remove – Adds a player to the miserable users list
- /mu help – Tells you about the above
Configuration File
For each configurable action, there is a name, description & max frequency number with it.
You can choose to either enable or disable each action and also how often it happens (on a scale of 1 to 10). Here's an example:
– Disconnection: – NAME
– The player will be disconnected, but it will appear that it is a random Java error. – DESCRIPTION
– 10/10 – Every 60 seconds – FREQUENCY
disconnectionenabled: true
disconnectionfrequency: 5
The frequency works as follows:
If the number is set as 10, it happens as frequently as possible; so if the number is set as 1, then it will happen as infrequently as possible.
To make that a little easier to understand, in the example above 10/10 is 60 seconds, which is on average how often the event would happen. These would be the following options in that case:
| No. out of 10 | Seconds |
|---|---|
| 1/10 | 6 seconds |
| 2/10 | 12 seconds |
| 3/10 | 18 seconds |
| 4/10 | 24 seconds |
| 5/10 | 30 seconds |
| 6/10 | 36 seconds |
| 7/10 | 42 seconds |
| 8/10 | 48 seconds |
| 9/10 | 54 seconds |
| 10/10 | 60 seconds |
Permissions
There are very few permissions, so it's quite simple to set up:
- To use the miserable users command: miserableusers.command
- To clear the list of miserable users via command: miserableusers.command.clear
- To escape any misery that may be inflicted upon you: miserableusers.bypass
