Description
This datapack requires Origins 0.7.3 or higher
This datapack adds real life reptile origins and also tries to recreate them as accurately as possible (or as far as my programming skills allow me)
I'm also going to work on pehkui integration, but I don't think it's going to come out anytime soon, because of school and stuff.
Komodo Dragon:
Komodo dragons are dangerous animals, containing poisonous saliva and the ability to chase their prey for a long period of time.
+ Death Bite
Komodo dragons have extremely poisonous saliva. When hitting an entity, it will receive the effect of poison. (Doesn't work on zombies, skeletons, etc.)
+ Prey Chaser
Komodo dragons can chase their prey for a long time. By pressing the primary power button you get the speed effect for a few seconds.
+ Reinforced Scales
You have natural armor, due some places on your body have reinforced scales.
– Carnivore
You can only eat meat.
– Reptile
You get more sleepy in cold biomes.
Gecko:
Geckos are nocturnal animals, which have an incredible ability to climb and can amputate their tail to distract the enemy.
+ Autotomy:
Geckos have the ability to amputate their own tails to distract their predator. When you press the secondary power button, you get the speed effect. There is a 3 minute cooldown for the tail to regenerate.
+ Climbing:
You have adhesive pads on your feet, thus making it possible for you to climb. Press the primary power key to turn climbing on and off.
+ Night Vision:
Your eyes have evolved to allow more light to enter your eyes, thus giving you night vision as long as you're not underwater.
– Fragile:
Geckos are small and fragile animals, so you have 3 hearts less than a human.
– Reptile:
You get more sleepy in cold biomes.
Chameleon:
- Chameleons are famous animals for being able to camouflage very well.
+ Invisibility:
You have infinite invisibility, but you slowness 5 when active.– Fear of the ground:
Chameleons like to stay on tree branches to protect themselves from predators. Below Y: 68 you get weakness and slowness.– Hydrophobia:
You can't swim.- Fresh air:
Chameleons are tree dwellers, so they need fresh air to sleep. You have to sleep above Y: 86– Fragile:
Chameleons are small and fragile animals, so you have 3 hearts less than a human.– Reptile:
You get more sleepy in cold biomes.
