The next update is coming soon, it just needs approval.

MossyCobble allows players to grow moss on cobblestone and stone brick! As an extra feature (Disabled by default) players can farm silverfish as well.

Usage

This plugin is small and simple; Right-click a mossy cobblestone or mossy stone brick block with fertilizer (defaults to bonemeal) to grow moss on adjacent cobblestone or stone brick blocks. It works either way; mossy cobblestone can grow moss on stone brick and vice-versa.

If a player right-clicks a silverfish block with silverfish food (defaults to paper), then the paper will be consumed and all nearby stone brick, stone, and cobblestone blocks will be converted to their silverfish-block equivalent.

Players can also grow moss on a block by placing vines on the block.

Commands

/mossycobble reload: Reload configuration file.
/mossycobble cobble <true|false>: Set configuration option for cobblestone.
/mossycobble brick <true|false>: Set configuration option for stone brick.
/mossycobble silverfish <true|false>: Set configuration option for silverfish.

Note: If brick: true and cobble: false then right-clicking on a mossy cobblestone block will change nearby bricks but not nearby cobblestone.

Permissions

mossycobble.admin: Allows the player to use mossycobble commands. Defaults to op.

mossycobble.cobble: Allows the player to grow moss on cobblestone. Defaults to true.

mossycobble.brick: Allows the player to grow moss on stone brick. Defaults to true.

mossycobble.silverfish: Allows the player to spread silverfish. Defaults to true.

Note: These permissions do NOT override the config; if you have silverfish turned off in the config then giving players the mossycobble.silverfish permission will not allow them to grow silverfish.

Future Updates

I plan on:

  • Removing configuration commands
  • Crafting recipes for other kinds of stone brick
  • (Maybe) automatic moss growth, without bonemeal or vines
  • Making vine spreading grow moss rather than just vine placing

That's all for now. Check back later!
