Three new ores that naturally generate – bread deposits (drop bread when mined with a wooden pickaxe), crimson ore (drops crimson liquid when mined with a hard gold pickaxe, can be smelted into crimson ingots), and purple ore (drops purple powder when mined with a crimson pickaxe, four purple power can be crafted into a purple ingot) and one new alloy (hardened gold, bad armor, but tools are better than diamond, six hard gold nuggets can be crafted from six gold nuggets and three iron nuggets), along with a new monster (dust zombies, spawn everywhere in darkness, move very fast, do a lot of damage, drop diamonds), new biome (redwater hills – danger! lots of dust zombies spawn there at night), three new craftable sets of armor and tools (hard gold, crimson, and purple) and some other things including natually generating scratched marble which can be crafted (four in a square shape) to make marble.
