Night Run: Race for the Wool

This map is a night-themed Race for the Wool map designed for 1.16.5. It consists of multiple different areas themed roughly on existing biomes in the base game. Wool must be retrieved from a stronghold, a water temple, and a volcanic mountain. 

Race for the Wool is a pvp and pve styled map that involves two teams racing across mirrored lanes of terrain, where both must reach and retrieve the different kinds of wool from their lane and return it to the altar at the start before the other team. All the while dealing with monsters, traps and the other team.

This map features command block functions such as teleport checkpoints and wool return detection, as well as notifications when the opposing team reaches a wool, so you will be aware of your opponents' progress. 

This map can be played with any gamerules you like, but the recommended ones can be enabled with a single button in the lobby.

Keep Inventory
No Daylight Cycle

No natural mob spawns

Time set to night

Recommended house rules are:
Do not build out of your lane or exit the lane at all
Do not drop into the enemies lane

No dropping into lower levels from the sides

If you die with a wool and keepinventory, throw the wool away.
