This mod adds a single tool, and nothing else. The Obsidian Buster has no attack damage, no enchantability, and is only capable of mining obsidian blocks. It has 128 durability, or 2 stacks of obsidian. The tool is intended to be used to allow players to quickly gather obsidian blocks from the world, which the mod author finds to be a typically arduous task.

The crafting of the tool itself is designed to not violate Vanilla Minecraft progression. As Minecraft's obsidian blocks can only be mined by Diamond Pickaxes, all optional recipes for the tool require a diamond pickaxe.

This mod comes with one configuration option: The crafting difficulty. The lowest difficulty requires a diamond pick, and the hardest difficulty requires a diamond pick, obsidian blocks, and blaze rods, allowing mod-pack makers or solo players the ability to set this niche-tool behind certain achievement gates: Gathering 3 diamonds, gathering obsidian, or killing several Blazes. You can see these individual options in the Images tab.

Please note: Client configs must match Server configs, or the client's recipe will return a false-positive result, making it seem as if the player is able to craft the tool. This will NOT cause any crashes, but it may be confusing and aggravating for users unaware of the need for the configs to be sync'd properly.

If you wish to use this mod in a pack, YOU MAY! The only thing I ask is that you send me a PM letting me know you're going to use my mod in a pack, and any info you can provide on where you see this mod fitting into your pack. I'm interested in knowing what pack-makers think of mods like this.
