An Add-on the the Origins mod.

"A distant cousin of the now-extinct Builders.

Your original realm now destroyed, you become stranded in this one. Due to your unnatural composition and affinity for spatial magic you gain several benefits and weaknesses."

Pros:

  • Spatial Stride: Primary key turn on/off. Can only be initially turned on while on the ground. Marks the Y-level below you – causing it to act as though it were solid ground.

Basically you can walk on air at the marked Y-level. Keep in mind you WILL take fall damage on the faux air.

  • Dimensional Displacement: Secondary key to toggle while not sneaking. User temporarily becomes ethereal and is unable to observe/influence or be observed/influenced by most things.

You become invisible (including armor and running particles) and are unable to mine, place, or interact with any blocks (including chests, doors, and levers). You are also unable to see any living entities (players, mobs, etc), hit said entities, and be hit by said entities. Additionally the user is unable to use any items. You can still pick up and drop items, and move around like normal.

* Architect's Pocket: Secondary key while sneaking. You have access to your enderchest at all times.

Useful early in the game. Afterwards, it kinda loses it's value and becomes more of a gimmick.

  • Architect's Focus: Created via placing 4 polished blackstone around a emerald block. Stores positions, subsequent uses teleport to the stored position. Brings a entity you are looking at with you. Reset via crafting it into itself.

Basically handheld teleportation device, but better because you bring people and things back with you. Additionally, although not stated here for brevity, while held in the mainhand it automatically activates spatial stride, even if you are midair; this cannot bypass fall damage.

  • Peritia Efficiency: Experience required per level is divided by 5. Anvils do not require levels.

Self-explanatory.

  • Nonflammable: You cannot be set on fire. You can still take fire damage.
Also very self-explanatory. Basically you cannot be on fire, but you can still take damage from touching fire, magma blocks, lava, etc.

  • Unwithering: You cannot take wither-related damage.

Basically, you can still get the effect but you don't take damage from it.

Cons:

  • Aurophobia: You take massive damage over time while in contact with gold. You cannot consume gold-related items.

The big one. This is a very unique weakness, it applies itself just by even touching gold-related blocks. You can't wear, or even hold such items in your hands without burning up. If you touch other players that are wearing or holding gold-related material the same thing will happen. The rate of damage is an entire heart every 5th of a second you are in contact. This damage can be avoided via Fire Resistance but the damage cannot be reduced via Fire Protection; these are both vanilla things. However, you simply cannot eat or drink gold-related items no matter what you do.

  • Unnatural Composition: Armor is only 70% as effective.
The OTHER big one. Simple, yet effective. Diamond now provides less protection than iron armor originally does.

  • Fragile Comprehension: Taking 5 or more damage causes you to lose 5 levels.
    The description says it all.

  • Unstable Form: You take 2x more damage from magical sources.

This includes potions, splash potions, thorns, and etc.

  • Abnormally Tuned: You cannot use enderpearls or chorus fruit.

As the description says.

Conclusion:

Yeah, not the most balanced Origin under the sun. However, considering the Elytrian is kinda op for how avoidable it's weaknesses are and the great travel ability it possesses I'd say mine is fine by those standards.

If you have any interesting weaknesses or other things to add, the best place to post em' is on my github issues tab.

You can also put in down in the comments, if you want. However, I would rather it be mostly questions down there. Course' I want bugs to reported in the github issues tab too.
