Player Emit

Allows players to emit particles with the use of simple commands:

*MAKE SURE YOUR USERS HAVE PARTICLES SET TO "ALL" OR "DECREASED" TO SEE THE EFFECTS*

Commands

  • /smoke – Activates the smoke effect, requires PlayerEmit.smoke
  • /fire – Activates the fire effect, requires PlayerEmit.fire
  • /ender – Activates the ender effect, requires PlayerEmit.ender
  • /annoy – Activates the annoy effect, requires PlayerEmit.annoy

Players with the permission PlayerEmit.others can activate the effects on other players with /<effect> <playername> but they must also have permission node to activate the effect on themselves (EX. for a user to type /fire wavywonderz, they must have both PlayerEmit.others and PlayerEmit.fire)

Installation and Configuration

Place the PlayerEmit.jar into your plugins folder. Upon startup of the server the first time, the plugin will generate a PlayerEmit folder with a config file. The config file contains the interval which the player will emit particles. The default is every 0.4 seconds.

Other Stuff

*I CANNOT, AND WILL NOT ADD MORE EFFECTS.* Bukkit only has control over a few In-game effects. Though the hearts emitted from animals when mating, or the purple particles around portals would would look nice as effects. Unless bukkit fixes this, I can't add any more effects to my plugin.

When activating the effect for other users, use their full name. with correct CAPS.

Give Admins / Mods / Donors different effects for recognition in-game!
