Description
Don't want the hassle of tearing down and rebuilding beacons wherever you go? Then this is the mod for you.
Craft the Beacon Backpack, infuse it with one or more beacon effects and enjoy your tasty effects everywhere!
There are five tiers of Beacon Backpacks. The first tier can only hold one effect, while the fifth tier can hold up to five. The range of the Beacon Backpack increases with the tier.
Additionally, the Beacon Backpack can copy the Conduit Power effect from a Conduit.
Future updates will bring a wearable necklace that can be infused with other effects.
Curios API is a required dependency for this mod.
For modpack authors:
Every crafting recipe in the game can be changed using data packs.
Because the Portable Beacons mod uses the vanilla CustomPotionEffects nbt tag, you can add any and all effects you want to a Beacon Backpack (even modded ones!) using commands or CraftTweaker.
So if you feel like your pack needs Levitation Beacon Backpacks or even Instant Damage, you can totally make those!
