Description
This mod is unmaintained. I am willing to transfer its ownership to whoever can and wishes to maintain it.
This mod enables players to "lie" on the floor as they walk by pressing a key (c by default) or holding a key (left alt by default). Prone players can also sprint and jump.
Players can also make themselves prone by using the /prone command. Server operators (or players with cheats enabled) can use /prone to make others prone.

Those looking for a Forge mod that does something similar, look at GoProne.
Prone exposes an API to mod developers that they can use in order to check if an entity is and mark it as prone. By default, only players can be prone, and allowing other entities to become prone is likely not trivial.
