Quek’s End

Quek's End

Requires Fabric API.

Quek's End is a mod that adds things to the End. Currently, there are no new biomes, but instead, new things are added to the 4 existing End biomes.

Features

You can find two new ores native to the End. They are Paramulite and Argulum, which can only be found in the outer End islands.

Argulum

Argulum is an alloy, similar to that of Netherite. It is found below y128. It requires a Netherite Pickaxe to mine, and can be used to upgrade Iron tools into Argulum Tools.

Argulum tools are incredibly durable, having 3x more durability than that of Netherite tools. (Netherite has 2031, Argulum has 6092) They also have excellent enchantability.

They are not the best for combat though, only dealing similar damage to that of Iron tools.

To create Argulum tools, you must first obtain Argulum Scrap, which is derived from smelting Argulum Ore.

To create an Argulum Ingot, you must combine 2 Argulum Scrap and Iron Ingots, like so:

And finally, to make a tool, do the following in a Smithing Table with any Iron tool:

Paramulite

Paramulite is a gem, found only below y64 and is rarer than Argulum. It requires an Argulum Pickaxe to mine, and can be used to upgrade Iron armor into Paramulite armor.

Paramulite armor is a side grade to Netherite, granting the user increased speed and armor toughness in exchange for raw armor, knockback resistance, and durability.

To create Paramulite armor, combine any piece of Iron armor with a Paramulite Gem in the Smithing Table, like so:

Obversa Plants & Fruit

Obversa Plants are a new plant that grows everywhere in the End. It can only grow on the undersides of certain blocks (defined in the obversa_plantable tag), and function similarly to Sweet Berry Bushes.

When picked, the Obversa Plant drops Obversa Fruit, a consumable item that has a 1/2 chance to grant slow fall for 10 seconds.

Obversa Fruit can be planted into Obversa Plants on the underside of valid blocks.

Obversa fruit can be crafted into Obversa and Chorus Stew, a food item that combines the effects of Obversa Fruit and Chorus Fruit.

Changes to the End

The previously barren End is now full of strange life.

Elder Trees, Ender Growth, and more now call the Outer End home.

Changes to Chorus

Chorus can now only be placed on Ender Growth (or any block defined in the chorus_plantable tag).

Caves

The End now has caves, making it easier to find resources, and adds a bit of chaos to the End's world generation.
