(A Data Pack for Minecraft 1.16.2 – 1.16.5.)
Highlights:
– Sleeping in a bed now resets time to morning in custom dimensions
– On multiplayer servers, only a single player needs to sleep to reset the time
By default, you can only reset time to morning by sleeping in a bed in the overworld. Even if a custom dimension allows the use of beds, sleeping in one will only let you reset your spawn point and keep phantoms away.
With this data pack, sleeping in a bed in any dimension that allows them, will reset the time to morning.
Also, as a side effect, on multiplayer servers, it's only necessary for a single person to sleep, unlike in vanilla, where everyone has to sleep in order for the time to reset.
