Rebalanced Audio MC

Are you sick of your ears exploding every time you ride a minecart, fight the ender dragon, or look at an enderman? Are you sick of having to keep adjusting the audio sliders in the option menu? Well me too, so I spent hours analysing every audio file in Minecraft with ReplayGain, identifying (most) of the loudest sounds in the game, and creating this resource pack to lower the volume levels of those sounds to a much more reasonable level in the sounds.json file. The goal of this pack is not to hugely minimise or completely remove any sounds, but instead to slightly reduce the volume of the most uncomfortably loud sounds in the game so that they are not so blaringly loud.

• Ender dragon roars and death sounds
• Enderman sounds
• Wither sounds
• Minecart sounds
• Portal sounds
• Villager sounds
• Cow, sheep, pig, and chicken sounds
• Grass block breaking sound
• Anvil breaking sound
• And much more

The pack is pretty good at the moment and I’ve covered most if not all of the worst loudest sounds in the game. But there may be some sounds that I’ve accidentally set too quiet, and some that may still be too loud, so look forward to new versions of the pack to come in the future as I continue to tweak the sounds further. 🙂
