Have you ever wanted to experience the joyous wonders of Forge Energy (also known as Redstone Flux)… without the Flux?

With Redstone Minus Redstone, you can come back to the wonderful days of BuildCraft 1.x and power your entire base off of the best, most universal, most ubiquitous and most supported energy system in the world: redstone.

With this new mod, you can finally power your base's machinery with the wide variety of redstone transfer methods and without worrying about balance, effort or any other silly, pointless things like that! Simply apply a redstone signal, and watch your battery's RF accumulate. (Pulses are unnecessary – and tend to be rather laggy at scale.)

NEW – 0.3.0: Got an item? No worries! Just throw it on a redstone source and let it charge.

And, in the event of a mod author wanting to use this for serious business, there are configuration options available to hopefully breathe some balance into this mess, including an option to limit this feature to a few specific blocks – not that you would ever want to, right?…
