RP Name

Introduction

Hi all ! I created RP Name for my RP server first, and now I want to let you use it.
RP Name is a very simple plugin with only 3 commands and 3 permissions.
You can customise lang and configuration, but I think the base configuration is good.
If you have a bug, please report it using Ticket.
I will not help you to install this plugin, I think if you start a server you need to know how to do it.

Warning ! The plugin just change IG name in chat, Join and Leave messages are with real name. Tab list will not change.

The configuration is very small, but you don't need to configure more things.

Names file

WARNING – DON'T TOUCH THIS FILE ! YOU'LL HAVE LOTS OF PROBLEMS IF YOU CHANGE ANYTHING WITHOUT COMMANDS !

Lang

When you change the lang, RP Name will create a default configuration with english lang, so you can have a file named "fr_FR" with english lang. You have to change it !

Commands and Permissions

The commands are really simple.
You have 3 commands :

• /setname <new name> : This command allows you to change your RP name (if you changed it before, you'll have to do /resetname and after /setname). Alias : /sn – Permission : rpname.setname (all players have this permission)
• /resetname : This command allows you to delete your name to use /setname again. Alias : /rn – Permission : rpname.resetname (you have to use a permission plugin, players op can't use it)
• /resetname <real player name> : It's the same command than /resetname but you reset other player's name. This player have to be online. Alias : /rn – Permission : rpname.resetname.other

Compatibility and Bugs

Compatibility

This plugin support PermissionsEx and EssentialsChat, but I'm not sure all fonctionnalities are supported.

Bugs

• Essentials /msg, /me, /say will use real name and not custom name, so you'll have problems with it.
• GroupManager prefix and suffix probably bug. I'm not sure, but PermissionsEx prefix and suffix needed compatibility to work.

To do list

• Maybe do a GroupManager compatibility
• Maybe try to do a Essentials compatibility, but I'm not sure
• Replace tab list names by custom names
• Change join and leave messages (with configuration)
• Anything else ? Comment !
