IMPORTANT NOTE: FOR SCRIPTS TO WORK PROPERLY, YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL A VERSION OF THE JRE 8 WHICH INCLUDES THE NASHORN ENGINE
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are updating the mod to v0.4 or higher for the first time, please delete all "Standard*.zip" plugins from your .minecraft/rsmc/plugins file. Be sure to also delete minecraft.json and rsmc.json in the .minecraft/rsmc/values folder for updating item values. v0.4 will automatically download the necessary files for you. The scripts system was changed in v0.4, so scripts for previous versions will not work. Be sure to do this before reporting issues regarding potions, magic spells, slayer tasks/monsters, pickpockets, or shops. If you are a first-time user starting with v0.4, you can safely ignore this message.
A massive mod which adds skills and tons of new items to advance them with!
To get started, you will need to craft an Artisan table. The recipe is a vanilla Workbench surrounded by 8 planks. Planks can be crafted from common logs using vanilla crafting, which can be obtained from common trees. The recipe can be found in the in-game skill guide.
To open the skills menu, press R! Clicking any skill will open its in-game guide; this will be your best resource for information about recipes, actions, and general information about some skills
Press P to enable or disable your PvP flag (applies for multiplayer).
Press Shift+V to open your spell book. Clicking a spell will bind it to the staff in the slot; if no staff is there, the spell will be bound to your character.
Press V to cast your bound spell, or right-click with a staff to cast its bound spell.
Hunger is no longer a factor; instead, your Agility skill (as well as carried weight) will determine how fast your stamina drains and replenishes from sprinting.
