This mod is unmaintained. I am willing to transfer its ownership to whoever can and wishes to maintain it.
This mod, when the "GUI Scale: Auto" button of a brand new instance is clicked, changes the GUI scale to 2 instead of 1. It works only once unless re-enabled in its configuration (config/scale.json).
