What is SignDirectives?

This plugin is compatible with 1.7.9 Craftbukkit and 1.7.10/1.8 Spigot.

Sign Directives is a plugin used to execute commands. Write any command on a specially marked sign, write its arguments, then right-click it and the command will be sent! This plugin is great for:

• WorldEdit servers (especially ones where you can make your own Spleef arena without the use of a Spleef plugin)
• Factions servers (using it to send emergency messages to allies)
• Making "command presets" (a row of [Command] signs with daily commands written on them, such as /mail read)
• Player donation shops (put /pay as the command)
• Much, much, more! The possibilities are endless!

None!

Permissions

signdirectives.makesign – Allows the player to make a sign.
signdirectives.allow.<command name here, no /'s> – Allows the player to execute the command written on the sign. Note: If the player does not have permission to perform a command in the chat, he does not have permission to perform it on a sign. This is meant for further limiting what they can and cannot execute on the sign. Example usage: signdirectives.allow.drain

How to use

1. Place a sign as you like it (wall sign, sign on a post, etc.).

2. Make the first line be: [Command] (NOTE: There have been some issues with signs where you need to press backspace on the empty line before writing anything.)

3. Make the second line be your command. Make sure to include the slash(s, if it's a W/E command). i.e.: /bal, //pos1, //pos2, /suicide

4. Make the third and fourth lines contain any arguments associated with this. i.e. 10,20,30 or: On line 3: TheHandfish then on line 2: &6Hello!

5. Press "Done" or hit escape (esc). The first line ([Command]) should turn blue.

6. Right-click your sign to perform your command. Have fun!

Config

There is no config necessary at this time.

Notes

As I said before, sometimes the signs glitch a little and the [Command] line will not turn blue after you place it. To fix this, press backspace several times on each line before writing anything which should remove an invisible character that confuses the plugin.
