SmelterTools

SmelterTools gives a use for gold on your server and supports permissions! If a player has permission for this plugin, then using gold tools will drop the equivalent of smelting the item!

• Stone drops Stone
• Cobblestone drops Cobblestone
• Iron Ore drops Iron Ingots
• Gold Ore drops Gold Ingots
• Sand drops Glass
• Gravel has a 25% chance of dropping Flint
• Logs drop Charcoal

You must use the correct tools for these advantages to work, however. For example, stone must be mined using a golden pickaxe; sand a golden shovel; etc.

(This plugin was inspired by Superheat which is now inactive.)

Installation

• SmelterTools requires no dependencies other than the latest build of CraftBukkit.
• You simply place the .jar file in the plugins directory of your server setup and run the server.
• As of now there are no config files to edit.

Permissions

• smeltertools.* – Provides access to all features
• smeltertools.goldpickaxe.* – Provides access to all features applying to the Gold Pickaxe
• smeltertools.goldpickaxe.stone – Allows user to gain smooth stone from smooth stone using a Gold Pickaxe.
• smeltertools.goldpickaxe.cobblestone – Allows user to gain smooth stone from cobblestone using a Gold Pickaxe.
• smeltertools.goldpickaxe.ironore – Allows user to gain iron ingots from iron ore using a Gold Pickaxe.
• smeltertools.goldpickaxe.goldore – Allows user to gain gold ingots from gold ore using a Gold Pickaxe.
• smeltertools.goldshovel.* – Provides access to all features applying to the Gold Shovel
• smeltertools.goldshovel.sand – Allows user to gain glass from sand using a Gold Shovel.
• smeltertools.goldshovel.clay – Allows user to gain bricks from clay using a Gold Shovel.
• smeltertools.goldshovel.gravel – Increases chance of user getting flint from gravel using a Gold Shovel.
• smeltertools.goldaxe.* – Provides access to all features applying to the Gold Axe
• smeltertools.goldaxe.logs – Allows user to gain charcoal from logs using a Gold Shovel.
• smeltertools.canuse – DEPRECATED – USE smeltertools.*

Future Additions/Planned Features

• Use of golden sword on animals provides cooked meat
• Individual permissions nodes for each part of the plugin
• Special farming oriented changes using golden hoe
• Configurable/custom combinations of tools and drops
